The TRACE MARBLE industry is one of the oldest industries, which produces and elaborates marble in Greece. Our activities began in 1965, with the founding of the first factory, which elaborated marble. 1975 is the most important year in the history of the business, since at that time it was transferred in the new premises, in Petrohori Xanthis, where it is situated until nowadays. In 1982, the business establishes its first productive investment, this raising its productive capability from 1.000 sm, to 7.000 sm, of elaborated marble monthly, whereas at the same time it starts the operation of the first quarry. In 1986 a new great investment in modern mechanical equipment helps the increase of productive capability up to 16.000 s.m, of elaborated marble, monthly. At the same time its legal form changes from general partnership to private limited companyIn 1990, continuing its development due to new investments, it stabilizes its productivity to 22.000 s.m, of elaborated marble monthly. In 1993, the factory expands its productivity by adding two contemporary machines for cutting marble, and as a result the production of elaborated marble increases up to 30.000 s.m, monthly.
